Modelling and simulation of spatially explicit complex systems

My research focuses on the design of models, methods and software architectures for the computer simulation of spatially explicit complex systems.

I am particularly interested in agent-based modelling, spatial simulation, discrete-event formalisms and methodological approaches for building, experimenting with and analysing simulation models in a rigorous and reproducible manner.
